Have you ever been blamed for anything? Have you ever inflicted it anyone else for anything? For the purpose of this article let's assume that you answered is yes to both questions.

Blame is among the most useless of emotions we have as human beings. The very concept of it doesn’t even exist. We invented it to alleviate ourselves of our responsibilities.

You or someone else take some kind of action, or indeed no action which leads to a result.

If the result is something you want then there can be no cause for concern. But, if however the result is something you don’t want then there might be accusation attached.

Can you see how simple the concept really is? We all cause things to occur in this world, whether they be things we desire or not we all have the power to produce a result.

Attaching our emotions to our results

If you attach no emotion to the result then there can be no complaint. I am not suggesting that you or I could be emotionless but rather control our attachments to our emotions, which is very different.

That is what blame is, a negative thought attached to an outcome that was undesirable. Without that negative thought condemnation does not exist and doesn’t have to exist in your life.

Let me ask you this. Has blaming yourself or others for anything ever caused you to feel good or produced positive results? Probably not.

So try to see it for what it is, a non-existent excuse for all of us to take no responsibility for our actions.

So what if you dropped the toast this morning and it landed butter side down. It was an action that produced a result, nothing more.

There are of course far more serious examples we could use to describe situations which might occur in our lives for which we might assign responsibility.

Please remember that no matter how dire the consequences of a bad situation, if you assign responsibility to someone or something else then you are giving away all potential for power over the outcome and as such can not improve it.

Remember that anything and everything that occurs in your life happens internally, in your thoughts. It is your thoughts that make others responsible and your thoughts that can free you once and for all from it.
