Who is this guy?
Simply a man with one of the most compelling life stories and diverse backgrounds you will ever meet. From a big time at risk childhood, to new beginnings with his real father, Gary Whitehurst has experienced life on many levels. This man has served with the US military overseas, worked in corporate America, traveled with international humanitarian aid groups, and has experience as a Dean of Students and Athletic Director. He has also been a coach, referee, youth pastor, and founding president of a national sales company. He is married to a beautiful Irish girl named Marie and has three children. (His most important job)

This means that his life has set the stage for his unique ability to relate to people of all different backgrounds and places in their life and career. With a childhood that put the “DYS” in dysfunctional and a true life story that ranges from tragedy to triumph, Gary has a passion for raising people’s personal expectations.
In his first year of membership in the National Speakers Association, Gary had the distinct honor of being invited to be a presenter at the association’s national convention, where he spoke to some of America’s most esteemed professionals. Since 1991, Gary Whitehurst Life Encounters has gone on to inspire thousands of people to “reach their peak” by understanding the power behind their personal choices.
